our people PROFILE Valerie Wilkinson Managing Partner - Head of Conveyancing 0115 959 0055 valerie.wilkinson@sharpandpartners.co.uk Valerie joined Sharp & Partners in 1980, as an articled clerk. She qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and became the first female partner in the firm in 1986. Her areas of work are property law (both residential and commercial) and private client and she is the partner in charge of the conveyancing department. Robert Oates stepped down as senior partner in 2009 and Valerie has now been appointed the role of joint managing partner along with Chris Carlin. Valerie is married with 2 children and her outside interests include Guiding (she is a Guide leader and District Commissioner) and walking.
